Last Saturday night sparkled with glamour at the magnificent and recently restored historic palace Pousada Palacio do Freixo where 250 guests showed their support for the animal welfare cause in Portugal. Organizers Aanifeira, Animalife, Animarco, and Pata Vermelho gathered their efforts together in providing a magnificent evening for all those present.
The evening’s cocktail started the night off and guests were entertained by the renowned dance troupe “All About Dance” along with other performers. Guests danced the night away enjoying the spectacular surroundings of the 18th century Pousada Palacio do Freixo which overlooks the River Douro and was designed by renowned 18th century Italian architect Nicolau Nasoni, one of the most influential figures in Portuguese Baroque architecture.
Guest celebrity appearances by Joana Pinto da Costa and Cláudia Jacques, brought life to the evening and both pledged their future support in events of this type.
All proceeds are to be divided between the non-profit shelters Aanifeira, Animalife, Animarco and Pata Vermelho for them to continue their work.
Our special thanks to all those who joined us on this very special occasion in supporting this extremely important cause – without you we couldn’t have done it!
