Volunteers behind Aanifeira – Pedro Pinto

Over the next few weeks, I will introduce you to the Aanifeira volunteers who work behind the scenes making their various contributions to the shelter in a very productive way.

This time it is our computer expert Pedro Pinto who has given a new look and voice to Aanifeira’s website.

Pedro, Licas, Cisco & Bela at Aanifeira's petshop

Pedro has been a member of Aanifeira since late 2009, when he and his girlfriend Bela, decided to adopt one of Aanifeira’s cats which they called Licas.  Licas at the time was about 8 months old and they fell in love with her straight away.   In November 2010 they found newborn kitten Cisco on the street and immediately decided that they would adopt him too providing a companion for Licas.

Coincidently both Licas and Cisco are exactly the same colouring – black and white and they look almost like brother and sister!

It was during one of Pedro and Bela’s visits to Aanifeira that Pedro asked if we needed help with out site and as you can imagine we jumped at the offer!

Thanks Pedro for your vital cooperation in your work to Aanifeira  and we look forward to seeing Licas and Cisco on their regular check-up visits to Aanfeira!
